What is Giving Day?
Giving Day is a special day that brings our community of donors together to make a lifesaving difference for patients and families facing cancer, in New England and beyond.
Our community came together on May 21, 2025, raising over $832,000 from over 3,300 gifts across 48 states and five countries. Each gift’s impact was amplified thanks to a generous triple match from an anonymous Dana-Farber Trustee.
An impressive 94% of gifts were unrestricted—flexible funding dedicated to where they are needed most—enabling Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund to remain nimble and address cancer's biggest challenges by:
- Funding innovative early-stage research
- Speeding new drugs into clinical trials
- Expanding access to care
- Supporting our industry leading doctors and nurses
- And much more
