Jimmy Memorial Golf Tournament

The annual Jimmy Memorial Golf Tournament is a great way to defy cancer while doing what you love—golfing. This event honors Einar Gustafson, a 12-year-old patient of Dr. Sidney Farber in 1948, who participated in a radio broadcast from his hospital bedside under the name “Jimmy” to raise funds for cancer care and research. He inspired the creation of the Jimmy Fund and ultimately, the Jimmy Memorial Golf Tournament as part of Jimmy Fund Golf presented by Mohegan Sun. For the last 24 years, friends have gathered on the fairway for the Jimmy Memorial and used their love of golf to drive change.
