About

Every September, Concord-Carlisle High School in Concord, Mass., hosts local high school soccer teams to compete, and raise money and awareness for ovarian cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, with an ultimate goal of finding an early detection tool for the disease. Players take to the field wearing a loved one’s name on their back to honor those who have been touched by cancer.
